BFX is a high intensity interval cardio class in Chelsea that is comprised of six rounds of intense cardio exercises mixed with strength moves.
Fitness clothes + sneakers.
Five min warm up.
36 min of six rounds of activities.
Each round consists of: (i) 90 secs of a toning/strength move and (ii) 4 mins of cardio, think tabatas (20 secs on, 10 secs rest repeated), AMRAPs (“as many rounds as possible”), or just plain old intervals.
Expect to use heavy weights for strength moves, kettlebells for cardio (like kettlebell swings), mats, and gliders for your feet.

No complex exercises. Basics like squat jumps, bicycle crunches, burpees.

They don’t let people in the studio until about one min before class starts.
Shares a lobby and locker room with Cyc Cycling and Stoked.
Locker rooms, showers, and lockers w/ automatic locks are located on lower level.
