Body By Simone - Full Body
Body By Simone's Full Body class is a dance cardio class sprinkled with upper body, lower body, and core strength exercises.
Fitness clothes + sneakers.
Format is typically: (i) Warm Up, (ii) Dance Cardio for 5 mins, (iii) arms (lightweights/bands) for 10 mins (iv) dance cardio for 5 mins, (v) legs (ankle weights, balls) for 10 mins, (vi) cardio for 5 mins, (vii) core for 7 mins, and (viii) cool down
If you’re not a dancer (I’m not), don’t worry, the dance cardio portion is less dance and more cardio. The instructors are super welcoming and emphasize that a dance background is not needed-just keep moving.
The strength portions are challenging, not impossible. You’ll most likely be sore.
The cardio portions are high intensity. You’ll be breathing heavy.

BBS has a dance vibe. I felt like I was auditioning for the sequel of “Center Stage”.
Studios themselves are bare boned, but clean.
Lots of mirrors in the studio. Love this, but hated it when I caught a glimpse of myself trying to dance…
Book early on Classpass to avoid high credit fees.
The Chelsea studios have no windows, so be prepared to be warmer than usual.
