Flywheel - Method
A 45 or 60 min high-intensity interval training spin class with a competitive edge. Each bike comes with your own personal performance-tracking metrics where you can race against yourself and your fellow riders. Class includes an upper-body sculpting section guaranteeing a full-body workout and sweat.
Fitness clothes + spin shoes (they provide complimentary shoes!)
Each bike will be fitted with a body bar for your arm workout and your own personal performance tracking device that monitors your stats in real time.
The format class to class is similar, but instructors choose their own song lists and drills.
High-intensity spin class.
Cardio heavy - lots of intervals, hills, and endurance drills with ~1 song geared to upper body exercises.
Not a lot of crazy choreography; more traditional.
Sweat Level: 💧💧💧💧💧
First Timers: $15 per class or $65 for 3 classes.
Returners: $30 per class.
The space is larger, lots of steel blue and silver tones, high-tech athletic studio vibe.
The instructors are all hardcore and energetic- they all have followings.
The spin room is dark and the music is loud and current.
Plenty of lockers, bathrooms, and showers.
Classes open up for booking every Sunday at 5 PM for the following week - recommend pre-booking your bike.
Each bike comes suited with our own personal metric performance calculator that will show your stats (RPMs, total workload, etc) & rank in class in real-time so you can push yourself & compete against your fellow riders.
You can also opt to participate in the TorBoard when you create your account to allow your username and rank to appear on a screen that shows during class for everyone to see. If you are the competitive type your will LOVE this class.
Flywheel Class Offerings
- Method: 45 or 60 min signature spin class.
- Power: 45 or 60 min more challenging version the Method ride; longer races, steeper hills, no upper body series, and less recovery time between intervals.
- Tempo: 45 min interval/rhythm based spin class with core-strengthening movements.
- Flybarre: 45, 50, or 60 min total body workout with light weights and high reps.
- FlyFit: 45 min total body functional training workout with heavy weights and intense drills.
