Mile High Run Club - Dash 28
Mile High Run Club’s Dash 28 class is an energizing cardio-intensive treadmill workout that incorporates 28 mins of varying speeds and inclines using timed intervals & 15 mins of off the tread strength/cardio work using kettlebells. The space is community-focused and encouraging.
Fitness clothes + sneakers.
Covers about 1-3 miles.
Typical class: (i) 5 min warm up walking/jogging, (ii) 28 mins of intervals w/ varying speeds and inclines, (iii) 15 mins of strength and cardio intervals using kettlebells, and (iv) 2 min cooldown/stretch.
Interval examples: two 3 min intervals at different (and challenging inclines (e.g. 4.0, 6.0)), four 3 min speed intervals (one min fast, one faster, one fastest). Each interval will have something changed in it.
Typically 60-90 second recoveries to jog/walk in between intervals.
This class is very cardio intensive.
Of course, you control the speed of the treadmill so that you can make it easier/harder.
You will be breathing heavy and you will need those recoveries.
The instructors coach you on form, which is super helpful for those non-avid runners.
You don’t need to be a regular runner to take this class or excel, just be prepared to run.

First Timers: $40 for 2 classes.
Returners: $35 per class. $20 per outdoor class.
Mile High Run Club also offers packages that reduce the per class price and they also offer memberships.
Studio, as a whole, is small, but works. The treadmill space is spacious.
The branding & energy are great and motivating.
The teachers are super encouraging which is huge for treadmill classes since you’re just running on a treadmill...
Music is solid and loud (very motivating).

At the NoHo location, there are three rows of treads (one up against the mirror, one in the middle, and one in the back).
The speed buttons are on the right arm of the tread and the incline buttons are on the left arm.
Showers and lockers w/ automatic locks.
Be prepared- the women’s locker room is small (only two showers at the NoHo location) and there are no plastic bags for your sweaty gym clothes.
Locker rooms could be slightly cleaner.
