Sky Ting Yoga
Sky Ting Yoga’s classes are instructor dependent, but are typically challenging, full body, casual, & grounding set in a clean and calming studio designed to hang out.
Fitness clothes + bare feet.
Sky Ting provides complimentary mats and props.
The class moves swiftly through various moves. Less “traditional” than other yoga classes. For example, in my class we didn’t do one vinyasa flow (which is refreshing!).
You’ll move your body in all different ways to open it up.
Sky Ting states that they take inspiration from “Vinyasa, Katonah Yoga®, Taoist, and Hatha, as well as several different meditation and breathing practices”.
The class has unique components and moves. One of the more exciting and down-to-earth yoga classes taken.
Encouraged to move your body and let loose, opening your body and joints.
Of course, instructor dependent, but less “yoga-y” and more “fitness-y”.
Sweat Level: 💧💧
First Timers: $40 for 3 classes or $75 for unlimited 3 weeks.
Returners: $25 per class.
Sky Ting offers packages that reduce the per class price and they also offer unlimited classes per week/month.
Sky Ting also offers donation-based classes.
Private training available. Discounts available for students and teachers.

You’ll feel like you’re part of a cool girls yoga club. There def are regulars - ppl know each other.

Welcoming front desk and instructors.
The space has areas to just hang out/relax.
Studio is one flight up of a walk up building.
No shoes allowed once you pass through lobby.
Cubbies only, no lockers.
No showers. Only changing rooms/bathrooms.
There was a “mentee” instructor in my class who helped the main instructor correct forms. There were also two girls sitting in the back taking notes (part of an instructor-education program).
Yeah, when I’d like a different type of yoga experience.
